WORK EXPERIENCE:
Physics of liquid crystals: polymer dispersed liquid crystals (PDLC), in-plane switching mode (IPS), anchoring effects, photoalignment of LCs, light scattering, nonlinear optics, photorefraction, phase transitions.
Effective electro-dynamical parameters of a heterogeneous media.
Teaching undergraduate students: ordinary differential equation and
calculus of variations, analytic geometry and linear algebra, mathematical
analysis, classical mechanics, classical electrodynamics.
Teaching graduate students: introduction to theory of liquid crystals, Pade approximations, fractional derivatives, Lie groups and differential equations
