Ukraine: spirit of sreets.A couple days ago I saw, my dear readers, several political symbolics at the centre of Kiev on the place known as Maidan. Medias do not like to show pictures from that place, but I guess all those symbolics is still there. Most of symbolics is symbolics of the Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko, the second place it looks takes such organization as Pora. "Pora" is a Ukrainian word which may change it meaning and value in sentence and may mean: "seson", "period of time", "exactly", "exact time", or as a call: "it is a time". I saw a number of tents with Pora's flags. Their tents looked not fresh. The Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko also has its tents on Maidan with their symbolics. But their tents are mostly empty. However in one of them I saw a matrass, perhaps somebody slept there. Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko uses such slogans as: "Spravedliveost ie, sa ney varto borotisa" means "Justice existes, to have it, it is a sence to fights" "Bes tehbeh nitchoho neh boudeh" means "Without you, will nothing be happend". In Ukrainian language for word "justice" are two words which may sound antonimicaly. Ukrainian word "iustitia" used as formal concept, "spravedliveost" is something what is wished, and it is what for, Yulia Timoshenko calls to fight. Advanced by the Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko minister of justice, called Yulia Timoshenko on TV: "Gasova princessa" mean "Gaz princess" or "princess with winds". By the way, for now it is difficult for his subordinants to work, lawers make too many troubles, that's why cops convince suspects not to use assistance of lawers. Instead of conducting reform of the system of justice in Ukraine, Yulia Timoshenko call to fight for justice. May be somebody expected Yulia Timoshenko will show itself as sophisticated political player who's able to rule galvanized people safely. What a kind of politician she is you could see by the figures of her government, which she explained by phantom remains of Kuchmist's regime. If she, as a politician, able to pacificate galvanized people, what does she do at now? If in days of Pomarance (Orange) Revolution people knew: they help an experienced economist and promissing politician to protect his votes at the presidental elections. For what will fight all those young people, without each of whom will nothing be happend. And how will they fight? I heard on a radio, people from the Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko beat their opponents with bottles. And if they will get something out of that fight who and how will use it? Yes she was a bitter political cure, author of these lines plans to write a book after about 25 years where particularly plans to try to analize whose political figure she was. --Quas.co.ua 20 of July 2006 |
